JOB TITLE:  Instructional Assistant 1 - Supervision                                      

 

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:   Building Administrator

 

FTE: .312 (2.5 hrs/day) 10:30am-1:00pm

 

POSITION START DATE: As soon as possible after hire

 

GENERAL DUTIES SUMMARY:

Assists or lends support to licensed teachers, or under the direction of other staff in a supervisory role.  Performs student supervision tasks of limited variety and moderate complexity.  These tasks can be readily learned on the job.  Positions in this classification may be part-time depending on district need.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a 9 month assignment on the range of the Classified Job Schedule.  Actual days may vary dependent on the number of days students are in school or the size and needs of the classroom population.

A new employee shall be allowed up to (4) four years experience on the salary schedule, based on actual years of experience on a job of like responsibilites and skills. The highest hourly rate for a new employee would be $19.61 per hour.
